Frequently asked questions
The questions the rally office gets asked most, by topic. Can't find yours? Email us — the regulations on the event page always take precedence.
Registration
When does registration open?
On 19 September at 10.00, simultaneously for the 73rd Tulpenrallye, the Pre-2000 and the Tulpenrallye Compact. You register per event, using the button on the event page.
Do I need an account?
Yes. You register with a personal account that brings together your details, your car, your documents and your payments. You create the account the moment you start your first entry.
What if an event is full?
Then you go on the waiting list. If a place becomes available you will be notified, and you can still complete your entry.
Participation
Which cars are eligible?
Each event has its own eligibility requirement; you will find it on the event page and in the regulations for that event.
Where can I find the regulations?
On the event page under Info & programme, as a PDF in Dutch and English. All the conditions, the class structure and the scoring are set out in it.
Do I need rally experience?
No. There are classes at different levels; choose the event and the class that suit you. The regulations describe what to expect in each class.
Media and photos
Will pictures appear online during the rally?
Yes — during and after the rally the daily folders appear under Photos & videos on the event page, and the interim standings under Results.
I am in a photo and would like it removed
Email us via the contact page with a reference to the photo, and we will take it down.
May I use Tulpenrallye images?
For publications about the rally we are glad to help. Please contact the rally office in advance.
App
Does the app always have to be in the foreground?
Yes, the app must be in the foreground at all times while you are driving. If the app moves to the background — because you take a call, for instance, or start another app — no controls are registered, and you risk missing a control.
